Music therapy does exist. Therapists use music emotionally, physically, mentally, socially, aesthetically to help the patients to feel better with a good health. Music therapy can be found in medical hospitals, drug recovery programs, alcohol recovery programs and so on. Music therapy is also important for children having communication, behavioural problems. The therapist has to play either piano or guitar as they are the ideal instruments for such a therapy. As for adolescent, music therapy can be useful for those being depressed, for those who stressed a lot and finally go and suicide. Through such therapy, the adolescents benefit emotionally and discover their own identity. Music can therefore be a solution and can help people to stay in good health, do not forget that people 🙂

Hello guys, Just wanted to remind you that I form part of a group name Acousticos. This group is composed of Christian youths. It all started when we meet each other in the choir. We knew that we have the same passion: Music. For us we share this passion by meeting at a member’s place where we are free to express ourselves through music. We do interpret existing songs, not to make our own songs but just to express ourselves in our free time. I’ll not put them online unfortunately because of the copyright issue. However you can still listen to some recordings composed by the group itself. So just take a look at some videos that we have recorded which are available in my three contributing nodes being; facebook, Youtube and Soundcloud. Stay in touch. Xoxo. Music Rocks:).

This video has been shared with the kind permission of The Author Steve Augustin, a great Mauritian singer. Sega originated from Madagascar and Africa with the ‘ravane’ and the ‘triangle’.The original instruments are fast disappearing, making way for the more conventional instruments. It all started with the slaves and nowadays sega is seen as the folklore of Mauritius.
Great respect to all the Mauritian authors. They have a lot of talent :).

25 years ago, we have lost a great, fabulous and famous singer. Her voice was exceptional. She was exceptional. She was a diva. Her songs were really good where she sang in more than 10 languages. She received 55 gold records. She was the first singer to receive a diamond disk. Will really miss u Dalida 🙂

Music is an art. Many people do ask themselves: What is music? Some might answer that music is what comes out of a speaker when we play a CD. Others would say that music is what a singer sings and what musicians are playing. There are indeed many definitions. But we must go deeply into the definition. For example if I ask you what is the sea? Some will point at the sea to answer this is sea. Many people have different definition; Sea being the ocean, Sea being salt water, Sea being the home of aquatic animals. Therefore music can be defined in different ways; music is instruments, rhythm, chords, harmony, notes, bass, and melody and so on. Music is what makes us feel good. I will post different definitions of music by famous people just to make you see that music can be defined differently. Music creates emotions; music helps a lot in different ways and finally we can say that MUSIC ROCKS :).
